DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

The University has been ranked the 4th best in the country in 2019 by the National
Institute Ranking Framework. The University opted for a rigorous evaluation by the
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the University Grants
Commission. The apex Council of NAAC awarded the top grade of A ***** to the
University. UoH is ranked in the range of 591-600 in the World by QS Rankings 2019. In
the 2019 edition, the UoH performed among the top 59% in the QS World University
Rankings.

The University has also been rated by the NISSAT of the DSIR, Government of India, as the
only University under the ‘High Output – High Impact’ category among the top 50
institutions in India with publications in citation–index journals.

There was a sharp fall of 58.83% in the highest package offered in 2021
as compared with 2020

The highest package offered during University of Hyderabad


placements 2021 was INR 17.7 LPA. Further, the average package
offered during HCU (Hyderabad Central University) placements 2021
was INR 3.5 LPA. It is to note that all 396 students were placed during
Central University of Hyderabad placements 2021. The top recruiters of
Hyderabad University in 2021 included leading companies such as
Pegasystems, TCS, and GE.
