• Parker Wilson, a professor of music who commutes

to nearby Providence, Rhode Island, finds a lost
puppy on the station platform in Bedridge.

• The puppy remains unclaimed, and the two grow

close while he takes it everywhere with him.

• The dog somehow knew when Parker was due

home. A daily routine begins: They walk to the
station together, Hachi goes home, and he returns
when Parker's train is due, at 5 p.m.

• Hachi barks and barks and watches the train leave.

Parker is holding the ball when he suffers a fatal
stroke in his classroom and dies.

Themes : THE POWER OF LOVE

In my opinian,this movie shows us on how love can make

a person/pet lost control. Through love, we can do
anything and through love we can be someone who is
more passionate. For example, after Haciko came into
Professor Paker life,he getting more excited and cheerful
to go to work everyday.Futhermore,because of Hachis’s
love to Prof Parker,he never stop waiting for prof. Parker
at train station.

Criticism : From my point of view, this is

the most perfect storyline i have ever
seen. The only problem is the train sound
is too loud and can make people shock.

want Hachiko to stay with them at their new
house, Hachi still insist to stay at their old
house. She said “Hey. You know we love you,
Hachi. We want you to stay here with us. If you
have to go... that's okay too. Good-bye, Hachi.”

~ “Hachi? Hachi? Oh, old thing! You're still
waiting.” Cate Wilson impress that Hachi still
waiting at train station in hope that Prof Parker
will come back again eventhought everyone
knew that it will never happened.
