CONCEPT

What is DNA computing...?
“It is of biological molecules that stores huge amounts of data than the human-built computers and are able to
perform operations faster via enzymes, biological catalysts that act like software to execute desired operations”.

Case Study

“Hamiltonain path problem” – means the travelling

salesman’s problem from a source to a destination passing

through all the possible cities only once like;

A(source)-B and B-C and C-D and D (destination).

“ I believe things like DNA computing will eventually

lead the way to a “molecular revolution,” which
ultimately will have a very dramatic effect on the
world.”

Summary

 DNA is the basic medium of information storage for all living cells.

It has contained and transmitted the data of life for billions of years

 Roughly 10 trillion DNA molecules could fit into a space the size of

a marble.

 Since molecules can process data simultaneously, you could

theoretically have 10 trillion calculations going on in a small space

at once.
