INTRODUCTION

 The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown


Representative's Police on 27th July 1939.
 It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act
on 28th December 1949. It has completed 60 years of glorious history.
 The Force has grown into a big organization with 231 Bn , (including 200
executive Bns, 4 Mahila Bns , 10 RAF Bns , 10 COBRA Bns, 2 DM
(NDRF) Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty Group),
 41Group Centres,
 11 Training Institutions,
 2 CWS,
 7 AWS,
 3 SWS,
 4 Composite Hospitals of 100 bed
 17 Composite Hospitals of 50 bed.
ELIGIBILITY

Assistant Commandant : Graduation


Sub Inspector : Graduation Possession Of an NCC ‘ B' or 'C'
certificate or an outstanding sports certificate
Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) : +2
Constable : SSLC/ Matriculation.

PHYSICAL ELIGIBILITY :

 Minimum height required is 170 cm


 Chest: 80-85 cm (breath in and breath out)

 Weight should be in proportion to height of the candidate

 Thisis the first stage of selection process


 Long Jump (11 Ft)
 High Jump (3.5 Ft)
 One Mile race (must be finished within six
minutes)
WRITTEN EXAM

 The written exam can be divided into two parts. They are
 Part A

Part A consists of objective type questions


 Part B

Part B consists of descriptive questions.

 Here are some basic details about the written examination


 Total Marks: 50 (Part A – 25 marks & Part B – 25 marks)
 Time: 90 minutes
 Subjects: Science, General Knowledge, Numerical
Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and more
MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW

 Candidates who manage to clear written examination


must undergo medical examination.

 Medical examination is followed by interview.
