Overall Reflection
and
Learning of the Study
IV. OVERALL REFLECTION

I have learned in my specialization subjects during my Grade 11 and Grade 12 classes

in Marymount Academy that illustrations and drawings take time to create. So I must
be patient and at the same time I need to be creative in doing my activities. A beautiful
masterpiece takes time to create, it requires long patience, skills, and perseverance to
continue doing it. I encountered many challenges, trials and error but it did not stop me
in pursuing Animation. I saw it as an opportunity for me to grow and hone my skills in
drawing with the help of my teachers.
IV. OVERALL REFLECTION

The second step I knew is about creating a character. We use pencils and other drawing
materials to create and design our illustrations and characters. It can have movements
depending on what we want. In our life God is our wonderful creator that prepared wonderful
things ahead of us. If I make mistakes in the process I can erase it using the eraser or if I
know I can do more, I can just create a new one. In our life, God has prepared the paths that
we will take all we have to do is to trust in Him. If we have made mistakes we cannot erase it
using erasers but we can pray to God and ask for forgiveness and he will forgive us and he
will not keep records of our wrongdoings.
IV. OVERALL REFLECTION

As a student, I am asking for the guidance from my wonderful teachers but most especially
I am asking for the guidance and help from our God to finish every tasks with all my best
for His glory, purpose, and will.
IV. LEARNING OF THE STUDY

Last year I have learned about the stick figures. It can help a lot for people to draw better
because that is one of the base in drawing human figures. We use pencils to draw it in the
sketchbook, paper, or in the digital illustration. Once done in drawing the stick figures we
will now draw the muscles for the body and other features such as eyes, nose, lips, ears,
arms, legs, torso and etc. When the Human drawing is already completed we will not
erase it but rather we will use coloring materials to enhance the visual presentations of
our drawings.
IV. LEARNING OF THE STUDY

I also learned that we need to know first the terminologies and the basic terms and skills in
illustrations. We must undergo the process in order for us to achieve our illustration goals. Making
Characters in animation is also another thing. I heard from my animation teacher that there are
several techniques in drawing to show the situation and description of the character. In the
character, There are some movements in a different way. My animation teacher told me that I can
draw the characters that I want because my skills will manifest to it more.
I have learned in Animation that we need to be passionate, patient, creative, somehow skilled for
us to be enabled to create wonderful drawings and illustrations.
