1. An overview of creating ads
An advertising model is a combination of certain and
necessary elements that form a template to achieve the
goal of advertising a product. Or simply understood in
another way, the advertising model is a certain type of
advertising, products, and services that will be
reproduced into a direct model. Producing advertising
models not only helps businesses have a realistic view
of products but also improves the effectiveness of
marketing campaigns. Creating an advertising model is
an important step to bring consumers closer to the
product.
2. Types of basic advertising models
- In the field of Marketing management, there are many different types of advertising
models, but the most common types of advertising models, in general, include two
types:
2.1) Model ADIA
AIDA is a classic marketing communication model that allows businesses to understand
the cognitive process of consumers when making purchasing decisions and thereby
devise appropriate communication strategies for each of these stages. AIDA is an
acronym that stands for the 4 stages of Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action.
The AIDA model belongs to the American school of
advertising, but it is a regular model applied in Vietnam.
AIDA stands for the following words:
+ A - Attention (create attention). for example Illustration,
Font, Font size HOT. Discount, buy two get one free.
+ I – Interest (Create interest). e.g. List some
outstanding benefits of the product.
+ D – Desire/ Create Desire (Create product desire). For
example, a Video demo clearly works or customers say,
confirmed by major partners.
+ A – Lead to Action (Leading to action to decide to buy
the product). For example Limited quantity, scarce
goods,...
2.2) Model 3S's and 3R’s
3S's model is an advertising model according to the French classical
school. According to 3S's model, when advertising must be simple; must
be real, not fake, and tight between words and deeds (must go hand in
hand between advertisement and product)The elements of 3S's model are:
a) Simplicité factor: Simplicity When advertising is not cumbersome, it
should not be lengthy but must be simple. However, simplicity in 3S's
model is not only in words but also in form and content. Simple words,
simple presentation, no-frills, simple colors.
b) Substance factor: Tell the truth, don't lie according to 3S's advertising
model, when advertising must tell the truth, why say so, not lie.
Advertising about products, good products are said to be good; Bad
products say it's bad, don't advertise falsely.
c) Système factor: Closeness between words and deeds The Système
element is systematic, tight between words and actions. Between words
in advertising must go hand in hand with deeds, do not advertise one
thing, do another.
- Model 3R’s:
3R's advertising model is a modern French model. This model is the opposite of 3S's model.
3S's criteria when advertising must be simple and honest, words go hand in hand with
actions. 3R's is quite the opposite when it shows that advertising needs to be funny,
attractive, artistic and attract viewers. To increase the sense of humor, cover up the
shortcomings ofproducts, nowadays, when advertising, people often include the element of
lying, which is risky. Tell a lie without harming anyone. For example: "Drink an energy drink,
you will have the strength to defeat the dinosaur!“
d) The role of 3D advertisingProducing advertising models plays an important role for product
PR. From there, it directly affects the sales, the quantity of consumption as well as the
position of the product in the market. Before the product prototype was born, the 3D model
was the first communication channel. Bringing products to customers with the goal of
exploiting user reactions and psychology about the product. From there, there is a suitable
business plan.
