What is Leaders for Tomorrow?

 Leaders for Tomorrow is a not-for-profit youth


leadership movement to encourage
volunteerism and social action among them.

 We organize many programmes and projects


within the campuses and outside, and thereby
motivate students to participate in development
activities .

What is ‘A Date with
Development’?
 It is a 5 day national festival from 7th – 12th of February,
2011 to be organized by Leaders for Tomorrow to bring
the youth closer to the development challenges of our
country

 The event will see the coming together of eminent


personalities from the Government, Media, Bureaucracy
and Civil Society for interactions with the college students

 Each day of the Festival will be on a specific


Developmental Theme, a series of events are organised
keeping these themes in mind

 Each Day will see an exciting Film Festival on
the theme of the day.

 The Festival will include landmark short films


from India and across the Globe

 The Purpose is to use the visual medium to


bring the youth closer to Developmental issues
Band Performance
 Each day will conclude with a band
performance on the Theme of the Day.

 College Bands and other groups will be invited


to play for the Audience every evening
Peace Rally
 Members and Supporters to walk across North
Campus, University of Delhi

 Objective: spread the message of the


important role of Youth in Social Development

 The Peace Rally will be conducted in the week


preceding the Festival
