 INTRODUCTION
 This device the quick lifting jack with gear arrangement Motorized for automobile
garages has been developed to later the needs of small and medium automobile
garages, who are normally man powered with very minimum of skilled labors. In most
of the garages the vehicles are lifted by using screw jack. This needs high man power
and skilled labors. In order to avoid all such disadvantages. With the increasing levels
of technology, the efforts being put to produce any kind of work has been continuously
decreasing. The efforts required in achieving the desired output can be effectively and
economically be decreased by the implementation of better designs. Power screws are
used to convert rotary motion into translatory motion.
 A screw jack is an example of a power screw in which a small force applied in a
horizontal plane is used to raise or lower a large load. The principle on which it works
is similar to that of an inclined plane. The mechanical advantage of a screw jack is the
ratio of the load applied to the effort applied. The screw jack is operated by turning a
lead screw. The height of the jack is adjusted by turning a lead screw and this
adjustment can be done either manually or by integrating an electric motor. In this
project, an electric motor will be integrated with the screw jack and the electricity
needed for the operation will be taken from the battery of the vehicle and thereby the
mechanical advantage will be increased
PROJECT DESIGN
 OBJECTIVES
 To make a simple machine or mechanism to reduce human effort.

 To make machine with better performance and economic than

any market product.

 To learn working in team. To learn benefits of too.

DESIGN
 WORKING PRINCIPLE
 Project consist of MS base frame on which lifting mechanism is made. A bevel
pair is used for transferring motion from one direction to second. Motion is
given to first bevel gear via solid shaft fitted in bearing. Bearing is fixed to
frame.
 A nut is engaged with second bevel and threaded shaft is passed through it. So
when it get rotated the threaded shaft get up and down moment. Now, for
automation we couple a dc gear motor to input shaft. Battery as power source
is connected to run the motor.
 So, When we power on the battery and forward button is pushed motor starts
rotating. This motion is transfer to second bevel gear and so to nut attached to
it.
 And threaded shaft comes in motion
