 INTRODUCTION

 Cattle excreta is the undigested residue of plant matter which has passed
through the gut of animals such as cattle,buffallo,yak etc.

 It has important role in preserving environment.

 Can be used to manufacture bricks which are eco friendly and much
cheaper .

 Used as a cementing material in mortar and concrete .

 Experiments will be carried out to determine the

strength and durability of bricks.

 Experiments will also be carried out to determine

that cow dung is used as a cementing material in
concrete and mortar.

 OBJECTIVE
 Conventional construction methods use huge amount of resources
and cause pollutions.

 Bricks are of two types :

 Un burnt bricks

 Burnt bricks

 We can make bricks from abundantly available cow dung instead of

depleting clay and fire wood.

 METHODOLOGY

 Cow dung was added in 10%, 20% and 30% by weight of the earth material in
Bricks.

 cubes were moulded which contains 10%,20% and 30% of cow dung ash.
