    Joanne Rowling is a famous author best known for the Harry Potter book series. She was born in 1965 in England and studied at Exeter University. She wrote her first book called "Rabbit" in 1971 and her first novel about cursed diamonds in 1972. The inspiration for Harry Potter came from a delayed train trip in 1990 where she began developing the idea. She finished writing the first Harry Potter book in 1995 and it started gaining popularity in 1997. Rowling has been married twice, first to Jorge Arantes and then to Dr. Neil Murray.
