closest to you. Who are they?
The pointing finger reminds you to pray for
those who instruct, teach, and heal. Who are
they? Why should you pray for them?
What does the tallest finger remind you of?
Is it important to pray for the leaders of the
country? Why?
What does the weakest finger remind
you to pray for?
The last finger is the smallest but the
greatest. Why is it so? What does the
little finger remind you of?
 CAUSE and EFFECT
A cause uses signal words or phrases
like because, since, and leads to.
An effect uses signal words or
phrases like led to, as a result, so, as
an effect, and as a consequence.
 EXAMPLES
The athlete lost his balance while running in
the track field that leads him to have an ankle
injury.
Sam lost her necklace while playing outside,
so she was scolded by her mother.
Sherwin was given an award by his mother
since he finished all his activities as early as he
could.
