What is Book Share?

• Book Share is a free online library for


students with dyslexia, blindness, cerebral
palsy and other reading barriers. Book Share
offers many different book titles, it has over
1 million titles in formats like audios, audio
and highlighted text, large font, and zoom.
Many students can qualify they would need
to have a learning or reading disability,
visual impairment or a physical disability.
How is book share used
in the classroom?

Many teachers can allow students to use Book Share through


any technology device like their Chromebook or iPad since it
is easy access through any device. Students can put on their
headphones to be able to listen to books.

Cons

• Fee for students with no disabilitues


• If students are using a school account, they can only read the
books that the teacher has assigned to them, they really don’t
get other options.
