Environner meaning “neighbourhood”.

• The place, people, things and nature that


surround any living organism is called
Environment.

• Environmental Science is a systematic study of our Environment under
different micro climatic conditions and it is multi-disciplinary in
nature.
• Disciplines – Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Oceanography, Plant
science, Soil Science etc.
Natural Resources:
• Renewable Resources – Solar energy, Wind energy, Hydropower energy
• Non-renewable Resources – Oil, Natural Gas, Coal (Fossil fuels)
