MARBLE FLOORING

 Marble is precipitate from limestone and


dolomite; it is irregularly colored by
impurities and used especially in
architecture and sculpture. Marble floor
tiles are used for exterior and interior
flooring applications. Marble floors are
available in various colors red, black,
white mottled, and banded, gray, pink,
and green.
Advantages of Marble flooring

Natural Elegance. Marble is a high-end finish,


meaning it’s used to give spaces an elegant,
luxurious look.
 Easy to Clean.
 Lots of Colors to Choose From.
 Excellent Heat Conduction.
 Durable.
 Allergen-Resistant.
Disadvantages of Marble flooring

 Marble requires proper care and maintenance.


 Italian marble is usually very soft and prone
to cracks.
 Proper sealants should be used in marble
flooring as the marble is highly porous and
prone to staining.
 Marble is very heavy and lot of labour is
required in lifting the stone.
GRANITE FLOORING
Granite tile flooring is the most popular choice for
indoors as well as outdoors owing to its various
advantages. It also gives an aesthetic appeal along
with being durable.
 Granite Flooring is known for a few decades now
and it is becoming increasingly popular nowadays.
One of the reasons for its increasing popularity is
because it offers wide design options at a
reasonable rate.
Advantages of Granite flooring
 Flexibility.
 Not Expensive.
 Durable.
 Strong.
 Non-Porous.
 Easy Cleaning.

Disadvantages of Granite flooring


 Heavy
 No variety of Colours
KOTA STONE FLOORING
 Kota Stone is a fine-grained variety of limestone
obtained Rajasthan, India. From Kota, It is available in
attractive, earthy colours. It is non slippery, water-
resistant, non-porous, can be rough finished or polished
to a high shine. However, it does not have the
sophisticated appearance of Marble or Granite. It is more
rustic looking. It is used both in interiors and in
exteriors, commercial spaces, external staircases,
pathways, corridors, driveways, and balconies etc. A
very similar stone is the Shahbad stone found in North
Karnataka. But Shahbad is mostly grey.
Advantages of Kota stone flooring
 Beautiful
 Maintenance is easy
 Does not cost a high price
 Coolness

 Lusterless
 Flaking
