 Your groupings will depend on what line you
are in. The first line will be the Group 1,
second line will be the Group 2.
 Choose one representative who will be the first
one to receive the message from me and I will
tell a message and you will pass it backwards.
The last person will be the one who will tell
me the exact message that I have said and
he/she will be the one who write it on the
board.
 Differentiate direct speech from indirect.

 Practicing direct and indirect speech in

speaking and writing.

 Change sentences from direct speech to

indirect speech and vice versa.
INDIRECT SPEECH
CORRECT FORM OF A DIRECT SPEECH:

Teacher Flor said, “ I will not lock the door.”

Or

“I will not lock the door,” teacher Flor said.

 CORRECT FORM OF A DIRECT SPEECH:

The boy said, “ can you give me some food?”

Or

“ Can you give me some food?” , the boy said.
