Insurance
Fire and Explosion Compulsory Insurance
Subject to the Circulation No. 220/2010/TT-BTC of the
Ministry of Finance, issued 30 December 2010 to guide
implementation of insurance regulations for fire and
explosion compulsory in the case of establishments
where there is a special danger of fire and explosion
Subject matter insured
including below properties:
- House, building and fixtures
- Machinery and equipment
- Stock, material, commodity and others

Promulgated together with this Circular are the lists of
establishments, projects, constructions monitored the fire
prevention and fight, the list of fire prevention and fight
equipment, and specifications of priority signals and signals
used during firefighting:
This Decree takes effect on September 15, 2014 and replaces
Decree No. 35/2003/ND-CP dated April 4, 2003 detailing a
number of articles of the Law on fire prevention and fight,
and Article 1 of Decree No. 46/2012/ND-CP dated May 22,
2012 amending, supplementing a number of articles of the
Decree No. 35/2003/ND-CP dated April 1, 2003.
Decree No. 79/2014/ND-CP dated July 31, 2014 of the
Government guidelines for the Law on Fire safety and
firefighting and the law on amendments to the law on
fire safety and firefighting
1. Appendix I: List of constructions monitored the fire
prevention and fight.
2. Appendix II: List of constructions posing a risk of
conflagration.
3. Appendix III: List of constructions required to
notify fire prevention and fight departments of their
fire safety before being put into operation.

Coverage
If after payment of the First Premium the Property Insured
described in the Schedule or any part of such property shall be
lost, destroyed or damaged by any of THE PERILS specified
【 in the Schedule at any time during the Period of Insurance or
of any subsequent period in respect of which the Insured shall
have paid and insurer shall have accepted the premium required
for the renewal of this policy, insurer will pay to the Insured the
value of the property at the time of the happening of its loss or
destruction or the amount of such damage or at its option will
reinstate or replace such property or any part thereof

3. Aircraft and other aerial devices and/or
articles dropped therefrom
4. Riot, strikes, locked-out workers
