Place Value and Face Value

Place Value of a digit is the value of the digit according to its place in
the number.
It is the digit multiplied by its place in the number.
Place value changes from place t place.

Face Value of a digit in the number is the digit itself.


Face value does not change from place to place
Example:

 8 is in Ones Place. Its Place Value is 8 Ones
