Introduction
• AURAA: is Academic unit Representative for academic affairs which act as a connection
between PG students and PGAC.
• It helps to bring the concerns of student related to academics to PGAC and tried to solve
the problem in hierarchy.
• AURAA can conduct events and seminar related to academics which can boost students’
knowledge in particular domain.
• The main work of AURAA is to communicate with students and try to give them best
Post Graduation experience in their study tenure.
• AURAA must be aware of academic rules and regulations.
Objective
• To Improve the Academic facilities for PG students.
• To Conduct Seminars and Workshop For the benefits of the students.
• helping in revising and evaluating the curriculum to ensure
competence along the technological growth.
• Try to solve students problem related to selection/dropping of course,
completion of grades.
• Motivate PG students for research work and help them to get placed
in profile of their interest.

Groundwork discussion with GSAA/EM
• Guide should not force any TA students to work on projects other
than MTP, if student voluntary wants to works that’s fine.
• There is no such rule that if MTech RA students does not complete
project then he has to leave MTech, if he completes his MTP that is
enough to complete his MTech in RA.
• PGAC is planning to propose internship for MTech students and
companies are ready to offer internship to PG students.
• When there is need of students feedback GSAA or EM will contact
AURAA to collect the information

ISSUE DESCRIPTION/SOLUTION

Conversion to PhD The Criteria to apply for PhD like to get 9.0+ SPI in first semester should be lowered .
Conversion to PhD should be allowed in second year of MTech

Early Reboot Students at home face problems related to their academics as SysCon department is
interdisciplinary and most of the students don’t have particular subject background

PMRF Due to lack of motivation and guidance most of the people doing PG are not applying for
PMRF which is great thing to work under with good research fellowship.

Internship Students should be allowed to do undergo internship in second year instead of working
under professor

Placement Some PG departments don’t have Company coordinators from their department which is
reason why students don’t get chance to apply for particular profile they have been
targeting.
