 OBJECTIVE

• Get know about the different types of tools which was used in
making Hair Dryer.
• To get the required hair dryer design.
• To get the required surface area, length, Radius of Curvature of
the Hair Dryer
 PROCEDURE
• Open the 3D Experience Platform in your PC.
• Import the Hair dryer file which was given.
• Now select the sketch.1 curve and click on Revolute app and click ok
• Now measure the surface area of the created surface.
• Now create the surface of the handle of hair dryer, select the circles
and click on multi-section app the handle surface will be created
• Now create the surface of the handle of hair dryer, select the circles
and click on multi-section app the handle surface will be created
• Apply fillet of 2mm radius on the intersecting edge and calculate the
entire surface area of hair dryer.
• Unhide sketch.6 & Line.1 a curve will be shown, project the curve onto
the surface of hair dryer using projection tool
• Measure the lenght of the projected curve.
• Now select the projected curve and create 10 similar curves.
• Now create the surface over the projected curve and remove the
surface using trim tool
• Now measure the entire surface of hair dryer
• Now click on Porcupine Curvature Analysis and select sketch.1.
• The maximum radius of curvature will be displayed.
 PROBLEM STATEMENT

• I Have properly used the tools which is required to make this

surface design of Hair dryer. So I haven’t faced any problem in
doing this Project.
 OUTCOME

• Design of the Hair Dryer was made in the Surface Design

App.
