 Spesies of mangroves

 Previous Research
1. Widhyastini and Hutagaol (2017) reported that secondary metabolites such flavonoids, tannins, and
saponins from natural product had the high biolarvacidal activity against mosquitoes larvae.
2. Some mangroves contained of secondary metabolites responsible as biolarvacidal agent against
Aedes sp. Are Rhizopora mucronata, Sonneratia alba, Avicennia marina, Xylocarpus granatum .

Conclusion
Based on the study, it was
obtained that R. stylosa
leaf extract contained of

The optimum
concentration of the
extract was 1,200 ppm,
while its LC50 value was
858.877 ppm, so it was
concluded that the the
extract toxicity against
Aedes sp. was moderate.
