HOW TO MANAGE EXAM STRESS
1. PLAN YOUR STUDY
 Schedule – Monthly, Weekly, Daily, Hourly.
2. TIPS FOR IMPROVING
CONCENTRATION
 Sit at the SAME PLACE at the SAME TIME for study,
so your mind is tuned to the environment.
 Put off all distractions

 Tell your family members about your study time, so they


too do not disturb you
 Postpone anything that is not urgent ( for eg phone calls)
3. FEW EXERCISES
 Deep Breathing
 Rubbing your palms

and covering your eyes with them


 Stretching

 Listen to Music preferably classical

 Make vision boards for

formulas, charts, graphs.


 Visualize your success

 While revision – Fast reading


4. DO THE DIFFICULT SUBJECT FIRST
 Start with the most difficult subject
 Avoid postponing the unpleasant task

 Ask for help from teachers and friends who are experts

 Refer to additional references other than notes


5. STAY AWAY FROM REBUTTAL PEOPLE
 Do not take advice or listen to people who demotivate
you.
 Do not get carried away in negative emotion
6. TAKE RIGHT AMOUNT OF REST
 During study time take small breaks
 Do concentration exercises

 Take right amount of sleep

 Especially during exams


7. UNWIND YOURSELF
 “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy”
 Relax your mind

 Take a break – Go out

 Do what you like as a stress buster


8. FOCUS ON HEALTHY FOOD
 Drink lots of Water
 Eat a Wholesome Meal

 Have Fruits and Dry Fruits

 A glass of Milk

 Healthy Snacking

 Avoid junk or fast food


9. HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
 Stop comparing yourself to others

 It is never to late to start

 Affirm Positive self talk
