disorders
eating disorders frame several chronic and
progressive diseases, of a psychosomatic
nature, and even though they manifest
themselves through eating behavior, in reality
they consist of a complexity of symptoms
among which an alteration or distortion of
body self-image prevails, a great fear of
gaining weight and other problems related to
acceptance by other people.

Physical signs and
symptoms of anorexia may
include
1. Extreme weight loss or not making
expected developmental weight gains
2. Eroded teeth and calluses on the knuckles
from induced vomiting

Introduction
To get rid of calories and avoid weight gain, people with bulimia
may use different methods.
Symptoms
Feeling a loss of control during binge eating, as if you can't stop
eating or can't control what you eat
Fasting, restricting calories or avoiding certain foods between binges
Treatment
When you have bulimia, you may need different types of
treatment, although the combination of psychotherapy with
antidepressants may be the most effective treatment for
overcoming this disorder.

Orthorexia
Definition
Orthorexia is an eating disorder that consists of the obsession
with healthy food. People suffering from this pathology feel
obliged to follow a restrictive diet that, depending on the
case, can exclude meat, fats, foods without eco-labeling,
additives which can lead to nutritional deficiencies and alter
mental health.
Treatment
In many cases the disorder is addressed in a multidisciplinary
way, with a team of professionals that includes psychiatrist,
psychologist and dietitian-nutritionist.
