Each dual core configuration can be considered as single core configuration hardware ready for its dual core
counterpart.

Torque Requirements/screws:

Channel-Port Mapping to Polarization
For 6-11GHz frequency bands, channelization and diplexers are narrow, a single IP-20C unit might have to operate in two
channels not covered by the same diplexer, so 2 different diplexer types are used.
Example: IP-20C-HP-6L-252A-1W27W8-H-ESX
Radio Port ID (EMS ID) Channels Coverage
Port 2 Ch 7-8
Port 1 Ch 1-2

The same orientation is

maintained for TX-H and
TX-L units.

Ceragon Hardware Installation
• To fit the gland, the outer cable diameter should be between 6-10 mm. This applies to all glands on
both the IP-20C unit and the PoE Injector.
• To fit the grounding clamp, the outer diameter of CAT5E Ethernet cables must be between 6-7.1mm.
Removing the caps

• The fastest and easiest way to remove the sealing caps is

to use one gland cover like showed below.
• The outer shell protuberances fits perfectly into the
“Philips” shaped openings of the caps
Unit Grounding

• Observe the Grounding screw for the IP-20C unit.

• The user power supply GND must be connected to the positive pole in the IP-20C power supply. Any other
connection may cause damage to the system!
• The power supply must have grounding points on the AC and DC sides.
• IP-20C includes built-in surge protection for its Ethernet and power interfaces (IEC 61000-4-5, level 4).
Grounding the cables

• No grounding is required for optical cables, unless metal armored.

• For Ethernet cables, the cable should be grounded at each end for under 50m
length and each ends & middle for more than 50 meters of length.
