MOOCS
• MOOCs are Massive Online Open Courses
offered to anyone on a wide variety of subjects
by universities and professional bodies.
• These courses enable students to study an area
of interest at their own pace, sometimes free of
cost and sometimes with an affordable fee.
Rural Immersion
• Rural Immersion Program is designed to help
students to understand and appreciate major
aspects of the rural economy as well as
develop an awareness of life, problems, and
issues related to rural India.
Certificate Courses
• The Certificate Course is a mechanism through
which students can get a certificate from the
administering authority or institution that the
student has assured qualification to perform
that job or task.
• This enables an attestation of a student’s level
of knowledge or proficiency in a certain
industry or profession by the competent and
authorized Agencies.
Community Service
• Community service Projects are non-paying job
performed by one person or a group of people for the
benefit of the community or its institutions.
• These projects enable students to learn the importance
of Community Service by individuals and business
organizations to create a Sustainable World.
• These projects at IES MCRC are intended to develop
a sense of empathy and volunteering for a noble
cause.
Social Sensitization Research
Project
• The social sensitization research project is a
research project which shall engage with social
issues such as access to political participation, the
environment, climate change, community
cohesion, livelihoods and literacy, with an aim to
bring about social change that will benefit
individuals, communities, and society.
• This course will give the
participants a deeper
understanding of the cultural and
social issues that affect different
Domain Specific Project
• The Domain Specific Project offers an opportunity for
students to connect the academic learning to the real
world by working on a specific issue/problem related
to their specialization (Finance, HR, Marketing,
Operations).
• This gives students the freedom to go beyond the
syllabus and explore a topic of their interest, in depth.
It helps them to develop a balanced, diverse approach
for solving the real-world problems.
Industry visit
• Industry Visits are short visits to an industry
offered to enhance student’s understanding of
working environment in organizations, and
expose them to the practical challenges that
organizations face as part of the self-learning
module.
Live Project
• Live project is a shorter version of Internship
and a bigger version of volunteering.
• While studying in the regular term, students can
take up a project in a company to get hands on
some practical knowledge and learn something.
• Students may or may not get paid during live
projects. Sometimes they get paid the expenses
incurred for the work carried out by them.
CII Yi Activities
•CII Yi Mumbai intend to sensitize students to
verticals adopted by them for nation building
namely Masoom; Gift an Organ; Road Safety;
Entrepreneurship; Learning & Development
•Students can pick any one of them and work
under guidance of the CII Yi member on a
voluntary basis.
Foreign Language
• Mandarin
• Spanish
Shadowing a CXO
• This course enables students to spend quality
time with top CXO’s of Companies and to pick
up essential management tips.
• In addition, the students would get exposure to
understand various management functions,
participate in meetings, record meetings,
communicate and interact among others.
Research Papers
• The research paper provides a structured, yet
independent opportunity for students to pursue
in-depth some extended aspect of the course
content.
Consulting/Funded Research Project
• Consulting or funded research projects are aimed
at conducting specialized and targeted research
on behalf of a client and produce a final analysis
of key findings. Consulting projects bridge well-
known academic research with the immediate
problems faced by practitioners.
• It develops the students’ skills as future business
leaders and offers their innovative thinking and
entrepreneurial spirit to partner companies.
Nuances About Corporate India
for IES Foreign Partners
• This program enables students from foreign
universities to develop an understanding of the
unique challenges in doing business in India
and connecting with industry in India and to get
excited to come to India.
• IES MCRC faculty and industry experts will
provide inputs and organize visits to companies
for interaction with Senior Management.
Study Abroad Program with IES
Foreign Partners
• This program enables IES MCRC students to develop
an understanding of the unique challenges in designing
internationalizing strategies such as, which countries to
enter, which entry mode would be most suitable and
how would the organization manage the control and
coordination challenges of overseas operations.
• This is provided through lectures by faculty of FHNW
University and interaction organized by FHNW with
Management teams of select MNCs located in
Switzerland
Disease Management
• The course is designed for students of Pharma &
Healthcare to understand the basics of human
diseases and their management from the point of
view of applying the knowledge for marketing
decisions.
• The activity is entirely indoor and calls for extensive
study of anatomy, physiology, diseases and their
management, which includes diagnosis, treatment,
lifestyle management, diet and monitoring.

• Internship Scheme
• NITI Aayog, Government of India had initiated an Internship Scheme in
2015.
• This Scheme seeks to engage students pursuing Under
Graduate/Graduate/Post Graduate Degrees or are Research Scholars enrolled
in recognized University/Institution within India or abroad, as "Interns".
• These "Interns" shall be given exposure to various Verticals/Divisions/Units
within NITI Aayog and would be expected to supplement the process of
analysis within NITI Aayog through empirical collection and collation of in-
house and other information.
• For the "Interns" the exposure to the functioning of the Indian Government
may be an add-on in furthering their future interests.
• Applicants will have to apply ONLINE by filling up the registration form.
