Literature Review

Covid- 19’s impact on the RMG sector and trade union efforts to contain the fallout.
 The RMG sector in Bangladesh is in a major crisis because of covid-19.
 For this reason, new business virtually halted and old orders canceled in large number.
 Over A million of garments workers in BD have been fired.
 Many RMG workers are going to be affected economically by it.
 So, the Govt. and trade union take necessary steps for this issue.

RMG sector stiches a story of success.


 Bangladesh is the second largest exporter of RMGs after China.
 RMG sector has established a strong foothold in the worldwide market.
 Bangladesh is also at the top of the universities list of environmentally sustainable apparel mills.
