Introduction

■ World is plagued by Accidents

■ Human errors

■ Need an alert for the driver

■ Checking the speed of the car is important

ACCIDENT

■ High speeds leads to accidents.

Accident = Short distance +High Speed

EFFECTS

■ Death
■ Injuries
■ Traffic problems
■ Loss of Asserts
STATISTICS

■ 1 person dies every 6 minutes, 10 are injured in the same time frame
■ India’s share of global car accident is 10%
■ 6% of the world’s road accident deaths happen in india
BLUETOOTH

■ Bluetooth can communicate with 8 other devices simultaneously.

■ Hence we can check the speeds of eight car’s simultaneously

■ Range of communication is up to 100 meters of each other.

BLUETOOTH ENABLED CARS
EQUIPMENT

■ The group of eight devices is known as piconet.

■ Piconet is a collection of master and slaves

■ The frequency of 2.4 GHz is shared among all the devices in the piconet
EQUIPMENT

■ Master is a device which controlall the devices around it.

■ Slave is a device which is being controlled by a master

■ Here A, B are master and s1 to s6 are the slaves

WORKING

■ If the distance between two vehicle is within the 100m the Bluetooth
device get enabled
WORKING

■ If the distance Come closer within 10m the automatic braking system takes the control
WORKING

■ After the speed of the car is reduced, the hydraulic values decreases the pressure on the
breaking circuit, thus effectively decrease the breaking force on the wheels.
COMPONENTS

■ Four main components to an automatic breaking system

■ 1)Speed Sensors
■ 2)Pump
■ 3)Values
■ 4)Controller
OPERATION

■ Short distance low power radio operating in the unlicensed spectrum of 2.4GHz and
using a nominalantenna power of 20 dBms

■ At the 20 dB the range is 100 meters, meaning equipment must be with in 100 meters to
eavh other(about 328 feet ) to communicate using the Bluetooth standard.

■ With the help of this technology we can send data to the eight devices
AUTOMATIC BREAKING PUMP AND
VALUES
■ A computer constantly monitors the distance between each of these Cars.

■ When it Senses that the car is getting too close it moves the hydraulic values to increase
the pressure on the breaking circuit.

■ It effectively increasing the breaking force on the wheels.

SYSTEM
AUTOMATIC BREAKING SYSTEM

■ Controls the speed of the car.

FUNCTIONS OF HYDRAULIC
VALVES
■ In position one, the value is open, pressure from the master cylinder is passed night
through to the brake.

■ In position two, the value blocks the line, isolating that break from the master cylinder.

■ This prevents the pressure from rising further should the driver push the break pedal
harder.
■ In position three, the valve releases some of the pressure from the break
CONCLUSION

■ The Bluetooth technology is being widely adopted the industry leaders.

■ The possibility for new applications is very exciting with this versatile technology.

■ It provides a simple, logical answer to all the, problems –which is built a single common
radio into every mobile computer.

■ It neither do companies have to worry about WAN, nor do communication companies

need to worry about building external cables
