– Structure of upper unit
• Upper unit consists of 2 gears (connected to the
cable), connecting bracket and guide spacer

Spacer
2 gears rotate by being pulled down by the cable
Connecting and the rotating gear pushes up the connecting
Bracket bracket. Therefore, the headrest moves up [30
Spring mm (1.18 in.)] and forward [25 mm (0.98 in.)]

with the guide spacer.
NOTE: The headrest goes back to previous state by spring force after the added force to
4 the lower unit is removed.

To avoid the contact of the seat leg to the vehicle body, return the seat position to
7 center position before removing the rear No. 1 seat.
