ABSTRACT
Now a days the demand for fossil fuels in world as increases very much
higher and the layers of fossil fuels is almost deplited .So the need of the
alternates fuels with no pollution use for all aspects in need such as
transportation, industries, and electricity.Hydrogen is the best alternate
fuel to fullfill all this contrains. In this project and production hydrogen
via electrolysis of water with continuous flow without storing it testing
and analyse the production rate of hydrogen when using different
sources of water as electrolyte, and conclude that which sources is
suitable for higher production rate.
Keywords : hydrogen,electrolysis,electrolyte
AIM AND OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT
Our aim is to produce hydrogen gas in the purest form without release
of any greenhouse gases into the atmosphere , cost effective and
efficiently used in the commercial purpose to run the vehicle and the
another source of energy storage medium .
Our main objective is to extract hydrogen from water by mean of
electrolysis of water using DC current from renewable resources and
measure the hydrogen production rate by using different catalyst and
water from different conditions and increase the surface area of the
electrode to produce hydrogen gas
INTRODUCTION
The use fossil fuels for like petrol, diesel ,LPG ,as very much and emits
large amount of co and Nox to the atmosphere during refining and
combustion so that alternates fuels like bio Diesel, bio gas, bio ethanol are
invented but they are not creates much impact on world due to this lower
calorific value and also produce Nox,co during combustion .To overcome
the pollution created during production and combustion hydrogen is correct
options to undertake analysis to use in vehicles. It has the more calorific
value the byproduct is only water during complete combustion the one of
the major disadvantages of hydrogen is it cannot be stored easily for long
time it has to be compressed in cryogenic form and stored in liquid state to
overcome this issue use hydogen must be used directly from electrolysis kit
with continuous flow in vehicles and eliminate storing of it.

EVOLUTION
EXISTING SYSTEM
Steam reforming process:
Hydrogen is produced by reforming natural gas.In this
process natural gas reacts with steam at 1200k and 20-30 atm in
presence of nickel catalyst. The reaction result in the production of
hydrogen gas with traces of carbon monoxide.
CH4 + H2O → CO + 3H2
PROPOSED SYSTEM
ELECTROLYSIS PROCESS
It’s the process of spilliting
anion and cathode in the
components at anode and
cathode side by passing DC
current into it and use some
catalyst to improve rate of
process.No release any
volatile gases during
hydrogen production.

CONCLUSION
• This experiment shows that hydrogen production rate is higher when
using waste water from textile industry as electrolyte ,In future the
hydrogen production rate could be increased by decreases the
distance between the electrodes that decreases the voltage
resistance between electrodes and make it more compact .This kit will
be used in petrol or diesel vehicle to increase efficiency of vehicle
when using hydrogen gas along with petrol in combustion chamber.
