 Aurora borealis

Auroras are seen in latitudes of around 70 degrees. They generally

occur in a band known as 'auroral zone'(Auroras that occur in Northern
hemisphere are known as aurora borealis and auroras that take place in
Southern hemisphere are known as aurora australis.) Aurora borealis is
also known as 'Northern lights'.
 Khiluk lake

Spotted Lake is very highly concentrated with numerous different minerals.

It contains some of the highest quantities (in the world) of magnesium
sulfate, calcium and sodium sulphates. It also contains extremely high
concentrations of 8 other minerals as well as some small doses of four
others such as silver and titanium.
 Marble Caves

The marble colour of the Marble Caves ranges from white to grey to blue,
and also includes the odd pink tint. The Marble Caves were formed by
water and weather erosion over a span of thousands of years. 'Marble
Caves' are known in Spanish as the 'Catedral de Má rmol' or the 'Capilla de
Má rmol'.
 Travertine Pools

The travertine pools are a whopping 200 metres high - so high that
they can be seen from the city of Denizli. There are different entrances to
the pools - if you use the south entrance, you have to climb up the full
200 metres if you want to see the view from the top.
 Cañ o Cristales

Caño Cristales (English: Crystal Channel) is a Colombian river located in the Serrania de la Macarena

province of Meta, and is a tributary of the Guayabero River. The river is commonly called the "River of
Five Colors" or the "Liquid Rainbow," and is noted for its striking colors. The bed of the river from the
end of July through November is variously colored yellow, green, blue, black, and especially red, the
last caused by Macarenia clavigera plants (family Podostemaceae) on the riverbed.
