Carlo Lorenzo Filippo Giovanni Lorenzini, better known as Carlo
Collodi or simply Collodi, was an Italian journalist and writer,
known for his novel The Adventures of Pinocchio.
The original tale of Pinocchio was written between 1881 and
1882 in a series of stories called Adventures of Pinocchio.
 Main Characters

Pinocchio: wooden puppet (marionette) created by Geppetto,

who came to life as if he were a human, because of the wish
granted by the Blue Fairy to Geppetto.

* Geppetto: an old and lonely carpenter who has no children

and is left-handed, but he was married, and so he makes a
wooden puppet which he calls Pinocchio, that same night a fairy
gives life to the puppet, who by lying grows a nose.

* Cricket Pepper: PEPE GRILLO: little cricket (or grasshopper),

companion of Pinocchio that has the objective of symbolizing
the consciousness of Pinocchio.
