LEARNING & WORK DONE IN NIGDI AREA

• On first day we started from distribution process , in which early morning we vist to distributors doc, we get information about
market and route of delivery from distributor.
• We follow delivery truck and collect retailers list and quantity of AMUL milk delivered to them.
• Went to retail shops to check the availability of AMUL products.
• If there’s no availability convinced them to keep AMUL products.
• Convinced old retailers to increase the quantity of milk and they have increase there orders and quantity of milk carets was
increase in area .
• Convinced retailers to sell AMUL A2 buffalo milk.
• Convinced sweet shopkeepers to make sweet with AMUL GOLD.
• Went to tea stalls and sold and increase orders for AMUL A2.
• Resolved grievances between retailer and distributor and restarted distribution.
• Taken orders from retail to retail shops and placed those orders on next day.
• Sold AMUL PREMIUM DAHI whenever distributor told us.
• Sold AMUL LASSI as and when required.
• Sold AMUL MASTI whenever there’s extra cartons left unsold.
• Started a new chain of retail distribution in Yamunanagar with new 7 retail shops (3 carets TAAZA and 2 caret GOLD).
• Convinced retailers to keep AMUL YOGHURT .
• In this two months we learn how distribution channels work , how retail market works , how to get and placed orders and
take follow up of that orders and learned to prepared track sheets according to orders.
FEEDBACKS

• No replacement policy causes resistance in retailers to purchase new or old products of AMUL.
• Epigamia yoghurt is in high demand in market we need to make some changes in taste according to consumers feedback .
• Many retailers want to keep AMUL products but they want replacement if not sold and shelf life should increase.
• Shelf life of AMUL DAHI and BUTTERMILK is of 2 days while GOVIND,KATRAJ’S is of 14 days respectively.
• Packaging issues in AMUL Products.
• Consumers of Nigdi market demands (milk,dahi,chaas ) more of KATRAJ,GOKUL,CHITALE,GOVIND than AMUL due
to margins and shelf life.
• GOVIND is the leading brand of dahi and chaas in nigdi market.
• Unawareness of Amul A2 in consumers causes less demand of it in market.
