 INTRODUCTION
• Metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection. 
• We are using biometrics in the emerging metaverse world, the app aims at building a
virtual internet-based simulation where people can use their face ID or fingerprint to
protect their smartphones or laptop from fraud.
• Security fraud is one of the most crucial problems faced by biometric scanner
devices. 
• Security is a facial authentication in which the users use their face ID to unlock their
smartphones or laptops.
• Project – Focuses on the solution to mitigate the security frauds based on finger or
face ID scanners.

 PROBLEM STATEMENT
Identity 
Engineers with knowledge of game development have the following concerns – 
• Due to such advancements in technology, bots can easily mimic any user’s style, data, personality, and whole identity. Also, how can they know that the avatar
doing things in that space is currently managed by someone who has created that avatar.
Tech Savvy 
• People with little or no knowledge of metaverse have the following concerns – 
• People like these usually consider this space is for someone who is tech-savvy and have the required system and knowledge of computer to use and enjoy the
benefits of the metaverse. 
Privacy & data security 
For people who are random gamers have the following concerns - 
• Metaverse stores more than the users' email addresses and passwords. It will store their behaviors too. With a huge data mine, the technology needs to ensure
information privacy and personal data security for every user. 
Other generic concerns or issues -   
Law and jurisdiction 
• With social media already witnessing virtual crimes, metaverse will have its share of lawbreakers too. You need to have proper legislation. 
Hardware 
• Right now, the metaverse highly depends on VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), and MR (Mixed Reality) technologies and devices. Since most of these
are not lightweight, portable, or affordable, metaverse cannot have a wide-scale adoption. 
Addiction and mental health 
• Addiction to the virtual world might not only lead to mental health problems like depression, anxiety andcause obesity and heart problems due to the
sedentary lifestyle. 
  
IDEATION
 Ideation is the second step of the design thinking
process, and it is where we strive to produce solutions to
our user's problems.
 The solution we propose here to ensure identity security
is facial authentication in which users authenticate
themselves via their mobile phones or laptops using a
face ID similar to smartphone locks. Once the facial ID is
created, it cannot be changed unless the original owner
authorizes it.
 Once the visitor clicks on the Avatar on their metaverse
screen, he or she will receive an authentication message
via facial ID on their registered smartphone.

• How might we create a login system such that the identity of the user is safe and
restricted?
• How might we ensure the health and wellbeing of the users?
• How might we make sure that the metaverse provides human-centered experiences?
• How might we ensure that the implementations of the metaverse develop around the
world?
• How might we ensure the cybersecurity of the interfaces of each metaverse and
ensure that there are no vulnerabilities?
• How might we introduce the concept of metaverse to the beginners/non-tech savvy
population?
• How might we work towards increasing the engagement on the metaverse platform?
• How might we make the app interface secure and easy to use?
