BACKGROUND OF STUDY

 Emojis and animated moods are images or icons

that are used to represent or express emotions in
electronic messages. The use of emojis and
animated moods has made mood expression and
recognition easier.
 PROBLEM STATEMENT
 

 The recognition and expression of emotions

through electronic or non verbal means via texts
alone is not effective enough for emotion
recognition.
AIMS OF THE PROJECT

 The main aim of this project is to examine how

emotions can be recognized and expressed
through electronic means to ensure smooth
transmission of messages.
OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this project include the following

 Choose emojis and animated moods from different categories.
 Download emojis and animated moods.
 Share emojis and animated moods on social network
platforms.
SIGNIFICANCE

 This project is important because it will enhance

smooth electronic communication and make
recognition and expression of emotions effective.
LITERATURE REVIEW
 Santamaria-Bonfil ad López mentioned that emoji
undoubtedly have become a part of the mainstream
communication around the globe allowing people, with
different languages and cultural backgrounds, to share and
interpret more accurately ideas and emotions
 According to Kelly and Watts, , just as emoji can be used to
keep a conversational thread alive, however they can also
be used to end one if necessary emoji can serve a number of
relationally useful roles in conversation.
LITERATURE REVIEW

 Cramer et al also added that, using emoji can

add extra emotional or contextual meaning to
communication, enhance the attractiveness of the
message to receivers
