MATTHEW 15:8-9

This people draweth nigh
unto me with their
mouth, and honoureth
me with their lips; but
their heart is far from me.
I. WHEN IS A PERSON FAR
FROM GOD?
“This people draweth nigh unto me
with their mouth…”

1. IF OTHERS CANNOT SEE

THE FRUIT OF JESUS CHRIST
WITHIN US.
1. IF OTHERS CANNOT SEE THE FRUIT OF
JESUS CHRIST WITHIN YOU.

Romans 8:29 ¶ For whom he did foreknow, he also

did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his
Son, that he might be the firstborn among many
brethren.

a. HOW WELL IS YOUR TESTIMONY?

b. HOW ARE YOU WHEN YOU ARE ALONE?
c. CAN OTHER PEOPLE IDENTIFY YOU AS
CHRIST DISCIPLE OR THEY IDENTIFY
YOU AS PART OF THEM ALSO?

SALVATION.

PERSON IS QUESTIONABLE BUT CAN ONLY
BE ANSWED BY HIMSELF AND WITH GOD.

services regularly because of mood,
family, friends, rituals and traditions
only but NOT OF LOVE,
WILLINGNESS of heart, OBEDIENCE
AND OF FAITH to GOD.

a. How well are you honouring God through your
giving, do you give the left overs and tips?

b. Are you giving with a cheerful heart or a doubtful
and bitter heart?
c. How much do you give your time for the Lord and
His Work? Are you giving your undivided
attention to God while listening? Are you involve
in the minsitries?
 3. If you are not winning souls for
Christ and not being involve into the
gospel ministry.

Matthew 15:8

The heart of Christ are towards his lost

sheeps and lost souls.
Mt 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes,
he was moved with compassion on them,
because they fainted, and were scattered
abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the
labourers are few;

3. If you are not winning souls for Christ and not

being involve into the gospel ministry.
I. WHEN IS A PERSON FAR FROM GOD?

4. When a person have a greater priority more than
God’s word.

5. When a person is living in hypocrisy and lie while
doing God’s word.
