Sanitizing station
◦The sanitizing station can be located in all
departments in the workplace. The company
provide free Surgical mask and surgical hand
glove to the employee. Moreover, all
employees are strictly instructed to wear a
surgical mask whenever being inside the
premises
Proper
ventilation
◦ When working in a
photochemical refinery, the
employees are exposed to
dangerous toxins. The
employee can easily inhale and
smell chemical fume whenever
being on the premises of the
workplace. To safeguard the
safety and health of the
employees, the company install
an Axial fan
◦ Exhaust system in the
production and mixer
department. Besides that, a roof
exhaust fan can also be found in
the warehouse department for
air circulation and to move hot
air out from the premises.

◦ Revised back the type of the pumps that available in
the market and based on the description of each pump

INDUSTRIAL
PROJECT
PART 1 PREPARING
THE PRODUCTION
LINE
Preparing the
production line
◦ Analyze the production formula for that day
Installation of
the filters
◦The size of the filter is
depending on the formula of
the product
Size of the
filter
◦ Filtration is used to
separate particles and fluid
in a suspension
◦ Filtration, as a physical
operation enables
materials of different
chemical composition to
be separated. By
dissolving the mixture in
the chosen solvent, one
component will go into the
solution and pass through
the filter, while the other
will be retained.
Size of the
filters 1micron
◦ In the filtration process, from
the different grades of filter,
each filter grade has a short and
long length. The short filter is
instructed to use whenever the
total batch volume of
production is lesser than 1000
litres, and the longer filter is
required when the total batch
volume of production is more
than 1000 litres. The purpose of
having two different lengths of
filters is to ensure the product's
quality is maintained and is
cost-efficient
Installing the
hosess
◦ This standing procedure
guideline can be found and
are paste in the production
area.. The hoses are used
for distributing water, D. I
water and chemical to the
filling tanks. Before
production starts and
chemicals circulate into
the filling tank, the
cleaning process of filling
tanks is required and
mandatory to reduce the
risk of chemical
contamination
INSTALLATION
THE HOSES
FROM MIXER
TANK TO
FILLING TANK
PART 2 PRODUCTION
BEGINS
Measuring tanks
◦ Before the chemical is filled into the production
filling tank, it is the responsibility of the production
department to confirm that the value recorded in the
work order is accurate. After the cleaning process is
done, we were instructed to verify the measurement
and value taken by the mixer department. The height
measurement of the chemical inside the tank vessel is
measure in
Setting the
conveyor
liners
◦ Daily, the task was to
ensure the rail of the
conveyor line is set and
adjust depending on the
size and height of the
bottles used on that
scheduled day production.
The production runs
thousands of bottles daily,
and the rail adjustment is
important to ensure that
the bottles do not fall from
the conveyor line.
Adjusting sealing
machine
◦ The Pillar technologies, Model Unifoiler-U induction
cap sealer provide a universal flat channel/ tunnel
sealing coil. It heats the sealing on the cap when the
bottles pass thru the channel. The task given was to
adjust the height of the sealing machine and sensors
depending on the height of the bottles used in
production. The sensor is used to indicate whether the
bottle is sealed properly; if the bottle is not sealed, it
will trigger the alarm, and the conveyor will
automatically stop.
Setting batch number printing
◦ The inkjet printer is used for printing the batch number on the bottles. The
PXR-D series inkjet Printers are equipped with high-end features suitable for
micro and large character printing, and the printer can print small markings
on the smallest size bottles.
Labelling machine

◦ The Komark ISBW label machine is used for labelling

the bottles of the manufactured product. The ISBW
series automatic labelling machine applies labels with
a width up to 240 m, and the machine's configuration
is customizable
Packing
◦ Every product has its fixed arrangement. The
detail of the bottle arrangement is found in the
standing instruction, where it stated the size of
the bottle, arrangement, and type of carton with
the serial number
palletized

◦ Every product has its fixed carton pattern arrangement.

Before the carton is arranged on the pallet, there are
standing instructions that detail the type of pallet to be
use and the kind of arrangement
