Raksha Gopal secured All India Rank 1 in CBSE 2017 with 99.6%.
Arnav Nath Mishra, a Class XII student of AIS Noida has been awarded a
2-crore scholarship by The Boston University, USA. He was selected
from amongst 62000 students who appeared for this competition.
Maitri App wins 5 students namely Ananya Grover,
Vanshika Yadav, Vasudha Sudhinder,
Shivansh Pal of AIS Noida class 10 student, won the privilege to be seated with
Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at ISRO, Bangalore on 7th
September 2019 to watch the prestigious soft landing of Chandrayaan 2 on the
moon. He was one among 72 students selected across India through a quiz
contest.

youngest Chess Grandmaster from India and the second youngest Grandmaster

A car designed by team Bolt of AIS Noida bore fruit when the car de-signed by them
finished the race at theF1 in Schools World Finals of 2013 heldin Austin, Texas in a
record breaking time of 1.124 seconds, beating teams from countries all over the
world toe merge winners of the Racing round. They were also honoured with the
‘Knockout racing winner’s award’ as well as the ‘Best newcomer award’.
Battling
the odds
Delhi state government announced the odd-even rule and the city went on an
overdrive. Akshat Mittal, a student of Class VIII J, AIS Noida created a breakthrough
website to help commuters partake in carpooling. This website named odd-
even.com, works on algorithms based on the age, gender, profession and timings of
commuters to help them find prospective carpool partners to plan their journey.
Anyone can register on the website by feeding their name, age, contact details
and registration number of their vehicles. Akshat has received a lot of recognition for
his innovative idea.
Science
Recognition by Govt of India
Three students, Aiman Naqvi (IX), Avdhi Mehta (IX) and Manav Prem Narang
(VI) of AIS MV participated in the Science Fair for Rural Community Awareness
which was organised by NCSTC, DST, Government of India from July 12-14,
2016 at Jahangirabad, Institute of Technology, Barabanki (UP). They also won
prizes and accolades for their project ‘Low cost hand sanitizer’.
Third prize at VVM
Aarav Bhatt of Class VIII, AIS Gur 43 bagged the third position at a national
level science competition organised by Department of Science & Technology,
Govt. of India and NCERT, known as the VVM competition. The competition
held at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, aims at testing the scientific
temperament of the child through hands on activities.
Top Innovators Award
Four students from AIS Vas 6 bagged the ‘Top Innovators Award’ in the
Healthcare category for their project ‘Calcium Dispenser’ at the Atal Tinkering
Marathon conducted across various schools in India by Atal Innovation
Mission (AIM), Niti Aayog.
Accolades by Govt of Delhi
Arnav Gupta and Vasu Madan of AIS Saket bagged the winner’s trophy at an
event organized by Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi from
August 29-20, 2018 for the project titled ‘Farmer Chums’.
Winners at TERI competition
Krishi Bhatt and Manvi Jain, AIS Vas 6 bagged the position of national winners
as well as received a cash award of 10,000 INR and certificate of merit at ‘7-
Day Challenge of Sustainable Living. The competition was organised by TERI
School of Advance Studies in collaboration with Embassy of Sweden and Dept
of Environment, Govt of NCT, Delhi.
24 students clear KVPY
24 students cleared Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2018-19. The
students will receive a scholarship of 80,000 INR annually for first three years
and 1,12,000 INR for the next two years thereafter.
First place at CBSE Science exhibition
Manogya Kabra (IX A) and Shivam Agarwal (IX K) from AIS Noida secured the
first position for their project ‘Foot Disease Detector with Extension of
Electricity Generation’ at the annual CBSE National Science Exhibition. The
exhibition saw over 450 exhibits from around 430 different schools.
Silver medal at INSEF
Two students-Krishi Bhat and Chhavi Sharma of Class IX, AIS Vas 6 bagged the
silver medal in the national round of Indian Science and Engineering Fair
(INSEF) held at Bengaluru on January 6, 2018. They bagged the award for their
project titled ‘Herbal pre-treated artificial and anti-bacterial cotton
biodegradable sanitary pad’.
Grand award at Intel IRIS
Manan Rai, a student of AIS Pushp Vihar bagged the Grand Award at Intel IRIS
National Science Fair 2016, held at Indian Institute of Science and Engineering
Research, Pune. A total of 3 lac students had presented their project for the
competition.
Finalists at IRIS
The budding scientists Vrinda Sethi and Arindam Nath of Class VIII were
adjudged the finalists at the IRIS National Science Fair held from November
16-18, 2017 at Manekshaw Centre, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. Their project
titled ‘Parking Bay Automation’ got selected out of 3000 projects from all over
India.
Gold Medal at Junior Science Olympiad
Archit Boobna, AIS Pushp Vihar won a gold medal at the 13th International
junior Science Olympiad held at Bali, Indonesia. A total of 48 countries
participated in the competition.

• 11 students cleared Junior Science Talent Search Examination (JSTSE)
between 2017-19, conducted by Science Branch, Educational Directorate of
Delhi. The meritorious students were conferred a scholarship of 2000 INR
and a certificate.
• In the National Talent Search Examinations (NTSE) held by National Council
of Educational Research and Training. 26 students cleared NTSE 2018-19
(Stage 1). In the year 2017-18, 10 students cleared stage 2. The meritorious
students were awarded a scholarship of Rs 15000 p.a. till Class XII, Rs
24,000 p.a. till post-graduation and as per the UGS norms while pursuing
their Ph.D (4 years).
NTSE scholar bags MIT
Srijon Mukherjee, alumnus, AIS Noida, bagged a coveted place at the
prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He also won the title
of NTSE scholar in the past and proved his mettle in subjects as Physics and
Math by winning various national and international Olympiads viz
International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Trophy at NCSC
It was a proud moment for AIS Vas 6 and the state of UP as Chhavi Sharma
presented her project paper at the 26th National Children Science Congress
held at Bhuvneshwar, Orissa from December 27-31, 2018. She received a
medal, trophy and a certificate of appreciation for her project ‘Herbal
Pretreated Antifungal and Antibacterial Cotton Biodegradable Sanitary Pad’.
Top three spots for Amity
at Nav Bharat Nirman
Amity schools won top three prizes for their projects at Nav Bharat Nirman
competition held under the aegis of 4th India International Science Festival
(IISF) 2018 on October 5, 2018. 13 teams comprising 14 students from AIS
Saket & 7 students from AIS PV were selected to present their projects. Their
projects were amongst the top 50 selected at All India level.
Googling the National Winner
Innovation runs inside every Amitian and that’s what happened at the
National Code to Learn Contest organised by Google India. Mehak Gupta, AIS
Vas 6 bagged the position ‘National winner’ for her project ‘Sports Pulse’ in
2018.
On the way to Google main campus
Two students Anurag Parinda and Orjit Chaudhary of AIS Gur 46 won the
Google Code-in, a seven week long challenge held from August 29 to Dec 27,
2018. They won an all-expense paid trip to Google main campus and San
Francisco Office in California from June 9 to 13, 2019
The only Indian to win
Vaishali Tikoo, a Class XII student of AIS Gur 46, became the only Indian
student to win Gold Medal in 9th Annual I-SWEEEP (International Sustainable
Energy Engineering Environment Project) Science Fair held in Houston, Texas,
USA. She was also honored with the Special Award for energy day by the
Consumer Energy Alliance.

Making Contest
Nandini Sharma and Kabir Arora, AIS PV won the Best Innovation Award for their project
‘Mitigating Air Pollution’ at a competition organised by United Nations Information Centre.
Silver medal at APCYS
‘Digitalisation of Indian Voting System’ – a project by Prabhjyot Singh Sodhi &
Jaidivya Lohani (XII) of AIS Noida bagged second prize in 6th Asia Pacific
Conference of Young Scientists by Foundation for Global Science Initiatives held at
Kathmandu. The project is a mobile app that will allow people to vote online. This
app is available in play store with 500+ downloads and has also been used in
various RWA elections.

(APCYS 2016), The 5th edition of the
conference organised from July 14-16, 2016
for students from Class VI to XII was hosted
in India for the first time at Amity University
Manesar campus.
Global scientists at INESPO
Students of AIS Vas 6 participated in the 8th Edition of International
Environment and Sustainability Project Olympiad (INESPO) in Netherlands from
May 29 to June 3, 2016. The students bagged the ‘Global Science Award’
competing with 150 Best Projects from 49 countries around the world.
Scholarship at International
Economics Olympiad
Anjanee Khosla of Class XII, AIS Noida,
won bronze medal in the International
Economics Olympiad held at St. Petersburg,
Moscow, Russia, attended by 166 countries
from 24 countries. She was also awarded
100% scholarship to pursue her higher
studies in Russia. She was one of the top 5
students selected from 1500 students to
represent India in the Olympiad. Her
complete trip to Russia was sponsored by
Higher Research University for Economics,
St. Petersburg, Russia.

20 teams qualify
Odyssey of the Mind
52 teams from Amity International Schools participated in the regional round of
Odyssey of the Mind, regional fair. Out of this, 20 teams qualified for participation in
the international round of OoTM 2017.
First prize @ Eurofest 2019, Russia
5 teams from Amity Group of Schools qualified to participate in the Eurofest 2019, held
at Svyazist, Russia. Team AIS Mayur Vihar and AIS Saket won first prize while AIS
Gurugram 46 secured third position in the same.
Three students sponsored for ISEF
Three students of Amity, Prateek Vachher, Shreya Shailan and Ritwik Sarkar visited
International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) at Los Angeles and Maker Faire at
San Francisco as observers from May 13- 23, 2017. They were sponsored by Niti Aayog
for their pitch for Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL).
Amitians at YRoNS
Nine Amitians participated in the 12th Young Researchers of Natural Sciences
(YRoNS) conference held at Amity International School, Amsterdam from April 9-11,
2019. The conference was attended by seven countries, namely Hungary, Netherlands,
France, Germany, Norway, Slovenia and India. Amitians presented projects on
Sustainable Development Through A Fertile Newspaper Printed with Natural Ink,
Chromatography in Forensic Science and Plant Growth Under Different Light that was
appreciated by all.
Amitian discovers an Asteroid
Gaurav Pati and Shaurya Chambial of Class VII participated in an asteroid search organised
by All India Asteroid Research Campaign in collaboration with SPACE, and were successful in
discovering an asteroid, provisionally named as 2013 LS28. The stupendous discovery has
been confirmed by the international scientific community.

Ridhi Nair, Class XI student of Amity Vasundhara 6, was one of the 25 students nominated
for Atal Innovation Mission, a 7 day residential Educational Learning and Innovation
Programme for her project Herbal Hygefeel held at Sirius Sochi, Russia from XXXX to XXXX
Google Code-in winners
Two students from AIS Gur 46 namely Padam Chopra and Aryaman Agrawal brought laurels
to the school by winning the Google Code-in competition conducted by Googleplex. Both
the students won a fully paid weeklong trip to Google headquarters in California, USA.

Indo-Russian Student Interaction Programme
Hridyansh Sharma of AIS Vasundhara 6 was amongst the 10 high school students selected
by the CBSE for the AIM SIRIUS Innovation Festival 2018. The festival was graced by Mr
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. He will be
given the chance to work on various projects related to Robotics, Climate change, Artificial
Intelligence and Russia-India relations and present the outcome of these projects to the
honorary leaders.

Five Amity International Schools (AIs Gur 43, AIS Gur 46, AIS PV, AIS Saket and
AIS Vas 6) were selected from 6000 applications for setting up of Atal Tinkering Labs
(ATL) by Niti Aayog.
Asteroid discoverers of Amity
Vedant Sandhu, Shrey Sharma, Divij Mishra and Ujwal Sachdeva of Class VIII of AIS
Saket participated in AIASC (All India Asteroid Search Campaign) 2012 along with
Astronomy Club incharge, Geetika Mehta discovered asteroids. Vedant Sandhu and
Shrey Sharma participated in Phase 1, making 1 preliminary discovery of asteroid
TOV6EC, 1 Near-Earth Object confirmation and 3 NEO observation. While Divij
Mishra and Ujjwal Sachdeva participated in Phase 2, making 1 NEO confirmation and
11 NEO observations. The students and the school were felicitated with trophies and
certificates respectively for making Preliminary discovery of asteroid and for making
Near Earth Observations (NEO) Confirmations.

Third Prize at Intel ISEF
Khanak Bhargava and Ishani Goomer of AIS Mayur Vihar, Class XI, were winners of the

at Phoenix, Arizona from May 12-17, 2013. While, Akshat Bubna of AIS Saket, Class
XII, received an Honourable Mention from the Acoustical Society of America in the
computer science’s materials and bioengineering category for his project entitled
‘Finding best speaker position using new algorithms to determine acoustic properties of a
room’.

AIR 2, Class X CBSE 2019
Two AIR 2 in Class X CBSE and 3 region toppers (1 in Delhi and 2 in Gurugram).
• Shivika Dudani topped Delhi in Class X, CBSE Board with 99.6% and secured AIR 1
• Pratham K Srivastava also secured AIR 2 in CBSE Class X with 99.6%
• Pia Gupta and Yatee Sakheel in Class X, CBSE with 99.4%. They secured AIR 4.

In 2018, once again, Amity students namely Aanshika Gupta and Anchit Jain of AIS Noida
secured AIR 2 in class X CBSE.

In 2015, Mythili Mishra secured AIR 2 in CBSE class XII with 99%.
100+ students in JEE Mains 2019
In 2019, 100+ students were selected in JEE Mains.
AIR 3 in JEE 2019
Archit Bubna topped Delhi and secured AIR 3 in JEE Advanced 2019. Out of 31 students
who qualified JEE Advanced, 21 have secured admissions in IIT institutions.
Second @ ASEAN
Four students of AIS Noida, secured second position and won cash prize
of Rs 26,000/ - at 2nd ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)
Quiz 2018 held on August 2, 2018. The winning students were : Nikhil
Joshi, Class X M, Shivam Pareek, Class X F and Sarthak Saxena, Class XI K.
The quiz organized by the Royal Thai Embassy saw the participation from
45 schools and colleges from all over North India.
Sports
Flanders Grand Prix 2018
Anish Raj, of class VI, AIS Noida, participated in the Flanders
Grand Prix 2018 European Cup World Speed Skating
Championship held at Oostende, Belgium from August 10-12, 2018.
Playing in 5 categories of race he 4 golds and 1 silver medals. He
has won the highest number of gold medals in his age group.
Medals @International competitions
In the year 2018-19, as many as 20 students bagged medals in different
international competitions representing India at World, Asiad,
Commonwealth and International regional level. Students won medals
ranging from gold to bronze in different sports including archery,
taekwondo, ice skating, golf, skating, chess, aerobics and taekwondo.
