• Based on the micro level of social worker’s
interventions, individuals can self assess and
receive the correct aid and betterment that
INTERVENTIONS they need.
ON LEVELS
• On a macro level, this would provide a better
education including more opportunities and
improved health in all aspects.
• Health/health care problems are interlaced with
factors such as poverty, poor education, and
inadequate housing.
• People living in poverty are more likely to be
in poor health with disabling conditions.
• Vulnerable populations have a greater chance
CRITICAL of developing a severe medical problem and
CONTEMPORARY this is due to insufficient healthcare and a
higher risk for disease.
ISSUES • Those who are part of a vulnerable population
have a difficult time staying independent, do
not have reliable transportation, and lack good
communication skills.
