• A sample data of 20 observations of weight(in lb) and height(in inches) is collected
from the population.
• We applied descriptive statistics to summarize the given data.
•A descriptive statistic is a summary statistic that quantitatively describes or summarizes
features from a collection of information, while descriptive statistics is the process of
using and analyzing those statistics.
• First, we calculated Measures of central tendency i.e. Mean and Mode.
 The mean of Height and Weight was 137 and 67 respectively.
 The Mode of Height and Weight was 148 and 65 respectively.
• Second, we calculated Measures of Dispersion i.e. Minimum value, Maximum Value,
Range, Variance and standard deviation.
The Minimum Value of Weight and Height was 117 and 62 respectively.
The Maximum value of Weight and Height was 170 and 71 respectively.
The range of Weight and Height is 53 and 9 respectively.
The Variance of Weight and Height is 194.6605263 and 7.039473684 respectively.
The Standard Deviation of Weight and Height is 13.95207964 and 2.653200649
respectively.

Finally, The coefficient of correlation is -0.386366367 .

Thus , this was the total analysis of Weight (in lb) and Height (in inches) which we carried
out from the sample data of 20 observations.
