Government is ready

to face all questions


in Parliament, says
PM Modi

Addressing the media ahead of the winter session, PM Narendra


Modi said the govt is looking forward to answering questions
posed by the Opposition but also expects the proceedings to be
conducted smoothly in the winter session started Today.
1.Parliament’s monsoon session was marred by Opposition protests
against the farm laws enacted last year and the alleged use of
Pegasus spyware.

2.Modi last week announced the repeal of the laws and the Bill in
this regard is expected to be tabled on Monday.

3.Modi said the measure of the work done in Parliament should be


the hours spent on discussion and debate and no disruptions. He
hoped in the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav marking 75 years of
India’s independence, lawmakers will find ways for the progress of
the country.

4.Modi added constructive decisions will be taken during the winter


session.
HOW DID THE LAWS REPEAL
First of all the BILL will be present in both the houses
of Parliament i.e. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha .
All the members of the Parliament should be present
in the parliament.
All the members of the parliament would discuss on
the BILL and would give permission for the repeal.
After the BILL was passed through the parliament to
the PRESIDENT OF INDIA.
President will sign the bill and pass out the
ORDINANCE(REPEAL).
Farmers’ agitation is not over yet, says Rakesh
Tikait

Leader of Samyukt Kisan Morcha, a federation of


farmers and other organisations that have been
running an agitation against three farm laws for a year,
Rakesh Tikait has stated that it is the responsibility of
every government in the country to come to the rescue
of families of farmers who lost their lives during the
on-going protest movement.
Mr. Tikait said their fight now was much beyond the
three farm laws but was also against about 27-28 laws
that were against the interests of the farming
community, peasants and other workers. The
laws/bills that were against the farmers and other such
communities included electricity, seed and pesticide
bills and several other existing pieces of legislation and
there was need for a law on minimum support price
(MSP).

New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh
Tomar on Saturday, two days ahead of a bill to repeal the
three farm laws comes up in the Parliament, urged farmers
to end their agitation.
"After the announcement of the repeal of the three farm
laws, there is no point in continuing farmers' agitation. I
urge farmers to end their agitation and go home," Mr Tomar
told ANI.
Mr Tomar is expected to present a bill in Lok Sabha on
Monday to repeal the three farm laws. The BJP has issued a
whip to its Lok Sabha MPs to be present on the day.
Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced
that the three controversial farm bills would be rolled
back. The farmer unions have welcomed the PM's
announcement, but have said that the protest would go
on till the laws are formally repealed and other demands
are met. Farmers have also announced that they will
they will march to the Parliament on Monday - 60
tractors and over 1,000 people, according to farmer
leader Rakesh Tikait - to underline their resolve in this
matter.
