INTRODUCTION
3D PRINTING
• 3D printing or additive manufacturing is the construction of a
three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. It can be
done in a variety of processes in which material is deposited, joined or
solidified under computer control, with material being added together
(such as plastics, liquids or powder grains being fused), typically layer by
layer.
• One of the key advantages of 3D printing is the ability to produce very
complex shapes or geometries that would be otherwise impossible to
construct by hand, including hollow parts or parts with internal truss
structures to reduce weight. Fused deposition modeling (FDM), which uses
a continuous filament of a thermoplastic material, is the most common 3D
printing process in use as of 2020.
OBJECTIVE
Objective 1:
• Have to take accurate measurements depends on the particular persons leg,by this we can
decide for the further stage.
Objective 2:
• This plays a major role i.e design. In this stage have to design depend upon the
measurements and have to analise that our design is suitale for bering the load and also for
the person safety and comforts.
Objective 3:
• In this stage according to design we have to print by selecting the material like ABS.
Obective 4:
• It is the last stage of project that after all our design is perfect and also in analysis have test
the objective material to the particular person.
METHODOLOGY
1. Creation of Design according to Dimensions
2. Converting design in stl.file
3. Slicing of the model in to cross sectional layers
4. Machine Set-up(Printing process)
5. Post-processing
6. 3-D object
