Newton’s Law

Session 1
Computer Engineering Laboratory
By: Andhika Favian Maulana
Objectives

1. Student understands about uniformly accelerated

motion (GLBB) on the system in experiment.
2. Students understand about Newton’s Laws and its
applications to daily live.
3. Determine correlation between distance with respect
to time, velocity with respect to time, and correlation
between mass, acceleration and force.
Topics

1. Newton’s Law
2. Regular straight motion (GLB)
3. Uniformly accelerated motion (GLBB)
Newton’s Law

Newton First law

• An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed
and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force

Newton Second law

• The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the
magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely
proportional to the mass of the object.

[ ]

Newton Third law

• For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
