• Void Contracts are valid contracts when they are entered into,
but they fail to enforce afterwards, because of certain reasons.
• Teena agrees to make an artistic painting for Joseph, for
adequate consideration. After a few days, Teena dies in a road
accident. As the contract becomes impossible to perform. It
becomes a void contract.
Illegal agreement
• An illegal agreements are void but all void
agreements or contracts are not necessarily
illegal.
Unenforceable contract
• An unenforceable contract is one which
cannot be enforced in a court of law because
of some technical defect such as absence of
writing or where the remedy has been barred
by lapse of time.
• E.g. agreement which is made with out
registration or non payment of necessary
stamp duty.
