Región andina

• The Andean region is one of the six natural regions of Colombia. It is


located in the center of the country

• – The tamales

• This delicious dish contains exquisite ingredients that you cannot


resist. It is the mixture between a mass of rice and various types of
meat such as: chicken, beef, pork, there are also some grains such as:
peas, beans, lentils, among others.
• - Rib broth

• This exquisite dish is well known as "levantamuertos", as there is a


tradition that it is the best remedy for guava. The rib broth is a dish
that cannot be missed at breakfast, it is usually accompanied by arepa
or bread. Its flavor is so attractive that it can be defined as a typical
element of Colombian cuisine.

• is one of the most representative dishes of the Andean region, as it


contains a wide variety of foods. Beans, white rice, pork rinds, fried
eggs and patacones cannot be left out. Clearly you can't forget the
avocado and the arepas.
– Changua

It is a dish that without a doubt you cannot ignore, since it is a


combination of water, milk, salt and egg.

Faras, squirrels, wild rabbits, curies, borugas, foxes and deer are also
found in this region. Likewise, exotic species such as the paramo tapir,
the night monkey, the howler monkey and the crested eagle are
housed.
