What is The
Quintessential
Quintuplets?
Negi Haruba is the author of Go toubun
no hanayome ( 五 等 分 の 花 嫁
Literal trad. Five Quintessential
Brides). He is the ilustrator and
creator Of the manga, which was later
animated into an anime
The manga have 122 chapters and 14
physical volumes.
This manga start to be published August
7th 2017, and it finished February
19th 2020. The anime start the
emision on January 10th 2019
The animated saga finished with a movie
published on May 20th 2022
The serie
The quintessential quintuplets is a harem romantic
comedy manga and it first chapters was published on
Shukan Shonen Magazine, so, we can say that this
manga is a Shonen.
The first season was animated by Tezuka Productions,
but the animation was so bad, so, the second season
and the movie was animated by Bibury Animation
studios.
 PLOT
Introducing the plot of the serie
Five Sisters and a strange
boy
Five girls that want to do any thing but study. Futaro
Uesugi took the tutoring job because he is
desesperate for cash, but his students doesnt help to
the study, Futaro is not going to stop until they can
graduate.
A thing that nobody knows is that Futaro is going to
get married with one of the quintuplets. Who will be
the bride?

Introducing Nakano sisters

The first Sister, the older. She is Ichika. A
born actress.

The second Sister. She is Nino, the star
cooker.

The tutor. The strange boy. He is Futaro.

HISTORY
Only the memories
A little Futaro go to Kioto, but he lost from one moment to
other, so, he start to take photos. Repently, a little lost
girl appear, and they stay together all the day.

Six years ago, 5 sisters go to a school travel. One of the
quintuplets, Yotsuba, get lost and found a guy. Was
Futaro.
They took a picture of the two of them. Futaro keep the
photo.
The quintuplet carries Futaro to her hotel with the other
sisters, but they look the same, so Futaro plays with
Ichika thinking that was the girl that he meet, Yotsuba
is jealous, she want to be diferent. She want to be
diferentiated.
She start to be diferent.
Quintuplets future
While Futaro was study ardualy
for a better life, Yotsuba start
to use a ribbon on her hair to
be diferent that her sisters and
people could recognize her.
She start with a obsession
about be diferent and she
strives to be better tan her
sisters. She begin to distance
herself from them and push
them away.
They all star to change. They cant
stand being the same.
When the quintuplets start the High School, Yotsuba
became member of many clubes, so, she got bad notes
on her test and she was expelled for her low grades.
Her father-in-law got a new High School to be
transferred, but their sisters say that all they cheat in
the test, so they are transferred to the new school too.
The quintuplets remember the words of her mother:
“No matter the place or the ciscunstances, the thing
that actually matter, is that the five stay together”
Then, that words made sense for Yotsuba.
Since that moment, Yotsuba stop to try be special or
diferent, she start to try that her sisters be happy with
or without her, even, if that means that she couldnt be
happy too.
A thing that nobody knows, is that the school where
they got transferred, is Furato’s school.

Hair
The hair of the quintuplets are of many colors on
the manga covers and into the animated saga, but,
into the univers of the quintessential quintuplets all
they hair is the same color: A soft pink like the
color that they wear when was kids. The author do
the color change because he dont want that the
spectors have confusions.
