PHILOSOPHY 12
 
​Introduction to the Philosophy of the Human Person is a core
subject in the K to 12 basic education curriculum for the
Senior High School. It shall be taken by Grade 12 students.
As a one-semester course, the total duration of its learning
session is 80 hours. It has no pre-requisite
subjects. Introduction to the Philosophy of the Human Person
is an initiation to the activity and process of philosophical
reflection as a search for a synoptic vision of life.  Topics to
be discussed include the human experiences of embodiment,
being in the world with others and the environment, freedom,
inter-subjectivity, sociality, being unto death.
