Sidoarjo
Sidoarjo is a district in East Java Province,
Indonesia. The capital city is Sidoarjo City.
This regency is bordered by Surabaya City
and Gresik Regency in the north. Together
with Gresik, Sidoarjo is one of the main
supports for the city of Surabaya, and is
included in the kertosusila Gate area. The
population of this district is 2,033,764 people
in 2021
Monumen Jayandaru
Although it offers beauty, this monument also has its
own meaning. This monument was founded in 2015.
Milkfish, rice, and shrimp found at the top of this
monument illustrate the products produced by the
people of Sidoarjo. The name Jayandaru itself comes

from the Sanskrit language. Jaya has the meaning of 2
glory, while ndaru has the meaning of revelation, so
this monument has the meaning that the people of
Sidoarjo can achieve victory or glory when facing
various situations so that the prosperity of the
community can be maintained
Lontong Kupang
Lontong Kupang is one of the traditional foods typical of
Sidoarjo. Kupang is a kind of sea shell that looks very
small. Kupang usually has a white body color. These tiny
animals can be found on the beach or saltwater mud.The

Kupang Lontong dish consists of lontong, kupang, lentho, 3
and clam satay. Kuah Lontong Kupang is made from
garlic, brown sugar, salt, flavoring, and petis. The taste of
this typical Sidoarjo dish is very distinctive. The savory
gravy is combined with the strong petis aroma of shrimp.
