The CSR Club of IIM Raipur

Kartavya is the CSR club of IIM Raipur. As a part of the club, students develop a sense of
responsibility towards society, environment and life. At the same time, it inculcates in them the spirit
to work in teams and handle difficult situations with ease. Students, through the CSR activities,
associate themselves with the society and the issues pertaining to it. As budding managers and
emerging leaders from a prestigious business school, the students produce a collective effort for
contributing to development of society in the best possible way. The club is a joint effort of the students
to bring about a positive change in the society, be it for the conservation of environment or for
community development and involvement.

 EVENTS
Being a CSR club, across the year we
actively plan various events which ultimately
helps to serve our purpose of creating a
sense of awareness and responsibility among
individuals towards Society, Life and
Environment.

Events include Pratigya (The Oath

Ceremony)- for establishing the pledge to
contribute for CSR; donation drives like
Daan Utsav (Bestow For Good) & Sahaara
along supporting hands with our NGO
collaborations; CSR cases, Quizzes and Fun
Events including Uttardayitva, Daastan,
Abhivriddhi and Kavyanjali; Experience
sharing series Safarnama also contributes to
enlightenment of individuals who wish to
join this journey of value creation via NGO
establishment.
