• In the beginning God

the Spirit of God hovered
over the waters.
I

the waters were
gathered into seas

• Then God said, ‘Let

the earth burst out
with every sort of
grass and seed-
bearing plant, and
fruit trees with
seeds inside the fruit
DAY 3

• All kinds of grass,

plants and trees
grew with their own
seeds to grow more.

DAY 6

• God told Adam ‘You

can eat the fruit of
any tree except the
tree giving
knowledge of good
and evil. To disobey
and eat this fruit will
result in death
DAY 6

God caused Adam to fall

into a deep sleep; and
while he was sleeping, He
took one of the man’s ribs
from it and made a
woman.
DAY 6

Now although the man and

his wife were both naked,
neither of them was
embarrassed or ashamed.
DAY 7

On the seventh day God
rested. God blessed the
seventh day and declared
it holy, because it was
when He ceased His work
of creation
• God told Adam he
could eat the fruit of
any tree but he must
not eat the fruit
from the tree giving
knowledge of good
and evil. To do so
would be to disobey
and bring death.
• Now the serpent
(Satan) was more
crafty than any living
creature. He said to
the woman, ‘Did God
really say, “You must
not eat from any tree
in the garden”?
•  The woman replied, ‘We may
eat fruit from the trees in the
garden, but God told us not to
eat fruit from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, or
touch it, or we will die.’
• Then the two of
them heard the
sound of the Lord
God as He was
walking in the
garden in the cool of
the day. They hid
from God among the
trees. God called to
Adam, ‘Where are
you?’
• Then God said to the
woman, ‘I will
sharpen the pain of
your pregnancy, and
in pain you will give
birth. You will desire
to control your
husband, but he will
rule over you.
• ‘Since you listened to your
wife and disobeyed, the
ground is cursed.
So God banished them from
the Garden of Eden, and He
sent Adam out to cultivate
the ground
They came to a place called
Golgotha, which means, ‘the
place of the skull ground
• Now when the
soldiers crucified
Jesus, they took His
clothes and made
four shares, one for
each soldier. The tunic
remained, which was
woven from top to
bottom as a single
piece.
• On the evening that
Jesus was buried, the
tomb was sealed and
guards were posted to
keep watch over it
•Suddenly there was a
violent earthquake as
an angel of the Lord
came down from
heaven, rolled back
the stone covering
the tomb entrance
and sat on it.
• ‘Now go quickly and
tell his disciples, “He
has risen from the
dead and is going
ahead of you into
Galilee.

John arrived first and
stared into the empty
tomb. He saw strips
of linen lying there
but did not go in.
Simon Peter caught
up and went straight
into the tomb
He did not understand from the scriptures that it was God’s plan
for Jesus, the Messiah, to suffer, die and then be raised to life
