DISCIPLESHIP

SEMINAR
Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:
Teach them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.
Root word- DISCIPLINE
A disciple is a Christian
who is obedient to
Christ as Lord.
Luke6:46
A disciple is

Disciple
commanded to be a
doer of the word.
James 1:22-24
How do we get disciples?
Planting the Seeds
We are to become “fishers of men.” In Matthew 4:19
We must cast our net (the Gospel) and proclaim the Savior of
the world.

Acts 2:40-42
Matthew 28:19-20
How does a church
multiply and have fruit
that remains?

John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that

ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my
disciples.
” Bearing fruit means that those who are of
God should abide in Christ Jesus as John
15:1-8 speaks about “The True Vine.”
The first-century church in Acts 6:1-7
were multiplying the number of
disciples

ACTS 6:7
“…the word of God increased…”
“… number of the disciples multiplied
…”
Church will only grow and multiply when
we start making disciples who produce
more disciples. We are needing men and
women dedicated to training, leading,
and teaching of the word of God, so
those young in the faith can grow and
mature and abide in Christ Jesus as the
True Vine.
We want to become a church that plants
the seed in good soil, so it can mature,
grow, and develop into spiritual fruit
that remains.
Matthew 12:18-23
We are needing planters to plant the seed in
the hearts and souls of men and women, so we
can add new disciples.
We need disciplers
<ADD YOURtoQUOTE
train andHERE>
teach God’s
word, so those who are added to the church will
grow and be established in the word of God and
fellowship of other believers. We need people
to pray for the work and ministry of God’s
people.
We (the church)
are to live the
Great
Commission by
making
disciples.
Discipleship is
our resource and
tool to start the
process of
DISCIPLESHIP-
FRUIT THAT
REMAINS.
How to effectively use this tool
Use the soul
