Netiquette Guides for Online
Class
WHAT IS DLSAU
1 FARM?
Let’s start!

The possibilities are endless when you
have the tools you need to learn

-Anonymous

5
DLSAU FARM, which stands for Flexible
Alternative Remote Modality of learning, is
based on Flexible Learning Modality (FLM), a
learning design perspective that is described in
the International Journal of Technology and
Human Interaction (IGI Global) as being deeply
rooted in the needs of the learners, with the
main objective of providing them with the highest
level of flexibility in the areas of learning content,
schedules, access, and learning styles. FLM
customizes learning environments—using both
technological and non-technological tools—so
that they are able to effectively meet these
needs.”
